Thinking of Buying a Make Up Storage Box?
If you are someone who has or uses a lot of make up then some sort of make up storage box is probably what you need to keep everything straight. There are many items out there that you can use to help with this.
What I’ve used for the last six years or so and continue to use is an organizer that sits on my counter. It’s not a storage box necessarily, but it keeps all my items in one place nicely. It’s plastic and it has many different compartments. It’s not large either so it doesn’t take up a lot of space. I’m able to put everything into it’s own spot and I know exactly where to find items. My mascara, eyeliner, lipgloss, moisturizers, etc all have their own spot.
If you are someone who has a lot of items and you don’t use them all the time, but want a place to store them nicely then I’d suggest some type of cosmetic bag. I use the Mary Kay roll up bag and I’ll tell you why it’s great. It rolls up so I can take it on trips with me, but it also has four different compartments. The best thing is that it hangs up and the compartments are velcro so you can just pull out what you need at any given time. Again it’s nice because I can put all the out of season items in the bag and roll it up and toss it aside until I need it.
They also have those cute little boxes that you can buy that have two or three drawers that you can pull out. That would be something you could sit on your counter or put in a cabinet to put make up in. That would come in handy also as it would be easily accessible.
There are many options out there when looking for a make up storage box. I’d just suggest finding the one that suits your needs the best. If you don’t have a lot of make up then you won’t need anything large, but if you do have a lot then I’d suggest something larger such as a roll up type bag.
