Thermal underwear men can wear to work

Let’s see.  You’re a man who doesn’t like to look like a pansy, but you like to stay warm.  And you don’t particularly want to go to work looking like Big Bear in your coat and shirt and jumper.

We’re going to talk about thermal underwear men can wear to work.

Thermal underwear for men has come a long way since the “long johns” granddad wore. And if you think it’s a bit on the soft side, how about this – moto GP riders , mountaineers, and soldiers are just a few of the  guys out there that would beg to differ.

The most obvious application is for people who work out doors when the weather gets cold. Good thermal underwear will prevent your temperature from falling to the point where you catch cold.  And many of you will be familiar with the situation where you work hard, get warm, then rest – and get cold and stiff. Thermal tops and bottoms really help in this situation, because they not only keep you warm but also wick away the moisture from the skin. Along the same lines, think pulled and strained muscles – you can often prevent the discomfort by just keeping your limbs warm.

If you like the idea but still can’t see yourself strutting in the tight fitting undergarments, relax. No one even needs to know! Thermal tops and bottoms come in all colors and are virtually invisible under your clothes.  There is also nothing stopping you from rolling or folding up the sleeves or legs, so to anyone else you might as well be wearing a t-shirt under your top.

Of course outdoor workers aren’t the only ones who can benefit from thermal wear. There are plenty of freezing offices, warehouses, and assorted other workplaces out there in wintertime.  If your job requires you to work behind a desk, you will get very cold indeed if your building doesn’t have good heating. Rather than having to shrug your coat back on halfway through the day, keep the heat close with some warm underwear instead.

Think of it as an investment in your personal comfort. And save on heating bills of course!
