Cool Bifocals and Gaining Experience

Unfortunately people get older, and as they get older some of the systems tend to not as work as well as they used. When the eyes start going, it’s time to look at glasses.
Developed by Benjamin Franklin, bifocal reading glasses are a great fix. They consist of two separate lenses in each glass, and each pair of lenses is set for a different purpose. The ones on the bottom are for reading and other up-close detail work by looking down, the wearer is able to deal with details. The upper lenses are made for seeing things far away, even at a relatively short distance of yards, and are set at the person’s other sight issues. The advantage is that eyes don’t need to strain to shift between the two as much, which is good as muscles don’t stretch as much as when they did when the person was younger.
Of course, the challenge is to find a pair of cool bifocals. The problem is that two many people worry about showing weakness, and demonstrating diminishing eyesight through use of bifocal reading glasses is definitely part of that. Although some try to maintain some youthfulness by using plastic frames in bright, fun colors, other seek dignity and distinguished good looks through metal frames. Fortunately there are hundreds of different styles available, so it isn’t that hard to find a pair of cool bifocals.
The choice of whether or not to accept diminishing eyesight gracefully is of course up to the individual. It doesn’t need to be seen as a limitation, especially as it usually isn’t the person is still able to function reasonably normal even without glasses. It’s all in the mindset of the person some hate being old, others find that they are simply better at what they do as they gain experience.
